Although it has a rural side, the village still maintains a luxe atmosphere. Homes in Bridgehampton are palatial and tout jaw-dropping views. Locals fill their social calendars with lavish equestrian events and refined art festivals. They also enjoy fine dining, upscale entertainment, and designer shops. Although the hamlet is both rustic and elegant, one thing is for sure, life in Bridgehampton is truly majestic.

Bobby Van’s is recognized throughout the Hamptons for its sophisticated menu and atmosphere. The old-school steakhouse has all of the traditional meats and chops along with unique seafood and fish. Bobby Van’s also has an impressive wood bar that serves exquisite cocktails courtesy of the professional bartending staff. For authentic French cuisine blended with regional street food, locals go to Almond. Situated in a historic building furnished with vintage decor, this adorable bistro crafts seasonal dishes using locally sourced ingredients. Caesar salad-style Brussel sprouts, elevated macaroni and cheese, and pumpkin panna cotta are must-tries.
 
Topping Rose House is a luxury resort with many weekend entertainment opportunities. Seasonal events are held throughout the year, including exclusive pool parties. The summer shop features well-liked brands such as Marysia and Solid & Striped. Additionally, Bridgehampton Commons is the town’s large shopping mall and has your typical retail chains.

Things to Do 

Bridgehampton is home to world-renowned equestrian events. Polo matches are regularly held on weekends and the town hosts The Hampton Classic Horse Show every Labor Day. This Grand Prix event is one of the biggest outdoor horse shows in the country. It is also a major social gathering as it indicates the end of the Hamptons’ glamorous summer season. Channing Daughters is a prominent local winery, and it’s one place you won’t want to miss! With wines curated from over two dozen varieties of grapes, you won’t find a selection like this anywhere else.

The hip community has excellent art galleries and fairs as well. The Dan Flavin Art Institute displays the minimalist artist’s captivating neon structures that interact with their surrounding space. The art institute is housed in a traditional shingle-style house that also serves as a venue for temporary exhibitions. Art Market Hamptons is an international art fair that takes place at The Bridgehampton Museum. Each year, the highly-anticipated art expo features nearly 100 galleries of the world’s finest modern and contemporary artwork.
