Atlantic Avenue Beach is immaculate and has soft sand ideal for beach volleyball. Every summer, the beach holds an annual Sand Castle Contest. Atlantic Avenue has a little concession stand that sells snacks as well.The East Hampton Town Marine Museum displays Amagansett’s important whaling and fishing history. Tours provide a look at real-life whaling artifacts and models, along with panoramic fishing diagrams and photographs.
